Working on local and national campaigns, as well as at the Texas Capitol, Mitch Carney is well versed in the world of government and politics. Mitch started his career as Regional Victory Director for the Republican Party of Texas where he oversaw volunteer recruitment, canvasing and phone banking efforts for Governor Abbot and Hurd for Congress in the South Texas area. He then went on to work as the Legislative Director for State Representative Dennis Bonnen supporting and advancing the Speaker Pro Tem’s legislative agenda, helping with briefings, research and communications.
Moving back into the campaign world in 2015, Mitch became Deputy National Field Director for Carly for America overseeing all call centers in Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina as well as volunteer recruitment and canvassing initiatives in Iowa. He was also responsible for all logistical matters for Super Tuesday states.
Carney then moved on to become Deputy Campaign Manager for Hurd for Congress overseeing the ground game and grassroots and volunteer efforts while managing a staff of 15 field representatives.
Mitch resides in Austin, TX and graduated from New England College with a degree in Political Science.
